This position reports to  Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities  In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies.

You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion business for System Drives division in Nelamangala
-Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: . To Know all safety and environmental rules/regulations that affect the work area. . Ensures the operation is run in compliance with health & safety policies and guidelines. . Leading capacity planning and resource optimization, Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation . Completes assignments and projects on time. Is accountable for personal and organizational results.

. Maintains focus and direction while removing barriers to minimize distractions and gain productivity. . Assists management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and over-seeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift
Qualifications for the role

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree (E&E or E&C )
5+ years of work experience in Production & Planning in Drive's /LT Panels manufacturing
Thorough understanding or the ability to quickly learn production operations & excellent supervisory, leadership, time management skills with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
proven track record in leading continuous improvements projects. Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components
Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements, Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications
Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and person-nel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team Panels and SAP knowledge is an advantage
