Physical Design Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for a  highly hands-on Physical Design (PD) Lead  with 12+ years of experience in end-to-end implementation.

Location:

Hyderabad and Bangalore

⚠️  This is NOT a people management role.
We are specifically looking for a  strong individual contributor  who can drive complex blocks independently and take full technical ownership.
The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in  CPU/GPU designs  and advanced node implementation.

Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on expertise in  Physical Design (PD)  – Floor planning, Placement, CTS, Routing, Timing Closure
Proven experience in  CPU / GPU  high-performance designs
Strong exposure to  Synthesis
Good understanding of  Design Verification (DV)  interaction
Hands-on experience in  CLP (Conformal Low Power)
Strong knowledge of  Static Timing Analysis (STA)
Experience in advanced nodes (7nm/5nm preferred)
ECO handling and full sign-off ownership

Key Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end PD implementation from RTL/netlist to GDSII
Own block-level and/or top-level execution independently
Achieve timing, power, and area closure
Perform and review sign-off checks (STA, DRC, LVS, Power)
Collaborate closely with RTL, DV, STA, and architecture teams
Provide technical guidance when needed (no direct reportees)

Required Experience
12+ years of strong PD experience
Solid experience in CPU/GPU projects
Strong debugging and timing closure expertise
Self-driven and execution-focused
