Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Advocate/Associate specializing in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) at Altacit Global's Bengaluru (Bangalore) office. The role involves conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing tailored legal counsel in the field of Intellectual Property Law. Responsibilities also include client representation, assisting in litigation and compliance, and keeping up-to-date with current and evolving laws in IPR.

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the Bangalore branch, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to the firm's standards.

· Develop and implement business strategies to grow the client base and enhance the branch's market presence.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.

· Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services and generate business leads.

· Develop and implement strategies for the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.

· Advise clients on IP portfolio management including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of law and legal principles
Experience in legal document preparation
Analytical skills to assess legal issues
Effective communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders
Business development skills, including networking and client relationship management.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience in intellectual property law is a plus
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or related field
