Job Description
We are looking for a Legal Specialist to join our Compliance & Legal team . This role involves handling contracts, due diligence, litigation and MIS management for our business (preferably in the NBFC domain).
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate and manage legal contracts with customers, clients and vendors.
Prepare and maintain standard templates for various business functions.
Conduct legal research and handle property due diligence (independently or via external counsel).
Track due diligence reports from external counsel and advise business teams.
Assist in preparing legal briefs, motions and other documents for litigation or regulatory proceedings.
Coordinate and track customer and dealer litigation with external counsel.
Maintain MIS for litigation and contracts (renewals, expiry alerts, periodic updates).
Manage relationships with external legal vendors.
Provide guidance on new case laws impacting the business.
Required Qualification
LLB from a premier Law College.
Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience in contracts, due diligence & litigation (preferably in NBFC/Financial Services sector).
