Senior Business Analyst - E-commerce

Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business performance for our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring seamless execution of strategies to enhance user experience, sales, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Analyze business processes, user journeys, and platform performance to identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and tech teams to define business requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
Monitor key metrics such as conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, retention, and revenue
Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis
Support A/B testing and performance optimization initiatives
Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders
Identify bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions for process improvement
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation
Drive continuous improvement through data insights and analytics

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
4–7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in e-commerce or digital platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI/Tableau

Experience with data visualization and reporting
Understanding of e-commerce KPIs, funnels, and customer behavior
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Background
Experience working with product teams or in a product-based company
Knowledge of digital marketing analytics (SEO, SEM, paid ads)
Exposure to CRM tools and customer segmentation strategies
Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations
