Job Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Security specialist for our Bengaluru location. This is a full-time, hybrid position ideal for professionals passionate about safeguarding cloud environments. The role involves working extensively with IAM, AWS, Terraform, Python, and implementing security management practices to protect cloud infrastructures.
Qualifications and Skills
In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Identity Access Management (IAM).
Proficiency in managing and securing cloud environments using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform, for deploying and managing cloud resources.
Strong programming skills in Python to automate security processes and tasks.
Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices and security architecture design.
Ability to implement and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines for cloud environments.
Must have skills in network security, encryption technologies, and vulnerability assessment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage security measures for our cloud infrastructure to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards following industry best practices.
Identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities in cloud systems and applications.
Work closely with the Dev Ops and engineering teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
Stay updated with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats to proactively secure our cloud assets.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments and internal systems.
Provide expertise and guidance on security concepts and risk management to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prepare documented security incident response plans and conduct testing periodically to ensure effectiveness.
