Your Job

As an IT Procurement Ops Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting global IT procurement operations, ensuring timely and accurate purchase and renewal of IT goods and services. This role involves managing procurement requests, maintaining supplier relationships, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet business needs efficiently and in compliance with company policies. You'll be part of a team that drives process improvements, optimizes procurement systems, and enhances overall value creation through strategic sourcing and operational excellence.

Our Team

You will join the Global IT Procurement team based in Bangalore, India — a dynamic and collaborative group responsible for sourcing and managing technology-related goods and services across the organization.

The team partners closely with IT, Finance, and other business functions to ensure seamless procurement execution, cost optimization, and vendor management.

What You Will Do

Manage procurement of standard and non-standard IT requests for hardware, software, and SaaS.
Create and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions or contract agreements, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
Maintain purchase orders across multiple ERP systems, from requisition to payment.
Support internal partners with order status updates, procurement inquiries, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure purchased goods and services align with technical and business requirements.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers, promoting trust and mutual value creation.
Partner with business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
Drive process efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in IT Procurement, Order Management, or Supply Chain.
Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
US (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM IST) business hours and five days a week from the office.

What Will Put You Ahead

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience in procurement or sourcing of IT hardware and software.
Working knowledge of Coupa, Service Now, Ariba, and/or SAP procurement systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience working in a global or shared services environment supporting IT procurement operations.
