Senior Staff Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

In your new role you will:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and systems to solve real-world business problems.
Act as the AI thought leader, helping the organization understand the value and implications of AI technologies.
Collaborate with leadership to define and drive the organization s AI roadmap and long-term vision.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to guide the organization s strategic AI investments.
Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes to demonstrate AI capabilities and business impact.
Establish best practices for data science, machine learning operations (MLOps), and responsible AI usage.
Work closely with engineering, data, product, and business teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Mentor junior AI and data engineers; help build and scale a high-performing AI team.
Advocate for a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous learning.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Minimimum 9+ years of relavent experience Proven track record of delivering production-grade AI/ML systems ong programming skills in Python (preferred) and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and related fields.

Experience with MLOps tools and cloud-based AI services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience influencing AI strategy or leading AI initiatives in an organizational setting is a plus.
Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI research and incorporate them into work
Hand-on experience in Version Control Systems, Change Management Systems
Familiar with Atlassian tools including JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams and leadership capabilities
Cloud-Based AI:

Experience with cloud-based AI platforms.
Containerization:
Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Agile Development:
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
Dev Ops:

Experience with Dev Ops practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Able to work well independently and in a team.
Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related disciplines.
