Your Role
As an Optimizely Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high‑quality digital solutions using the Optimizely (formerly Episerver) Content Management System and Digital Experience Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including UX, design, product, and QA—to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing digital experiences.
In this role you will play a key role in:
Designing and building Optimizely CMS and Optimizely DXP solutions, including custom templates, blocks, components, and integrations.
Developing high‑quality, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices and Optimizely development standards.
Integrating third‑party systems such as CRM, analytics, marketing automation, and custom APIs.
Participating in solution architecture discussions and contributing technical insights to improve system performance and stability.
Enhancing existing Optimizely solutions by implementing new features, optimizing content workflows, and improving digital experience capabilities.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CMS, infrastructure, performance, and integrations.
Working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
Collaborating with Dev Ops/Cloud teams to support Optimizely DXP deployments, environments, and best practices.
Ensuring proper documentation, code reviews, and adherence to agile development processes.
Your Profile
You are a skilled Optimizely developer who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering digital experiences that are robust, modern, and user‑centric. You have strong technical expertise, great communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Top 5 Technical Skills
Optimizely CMS / Optimizely DXP (Episerver) Experience in developing templates, blocks, properties, workflows, personalization, and content delivery APIs.
C# and ASP.NET Core / MVC Strong backend development experience for building scalable web applications and integrations.
Front-end Technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular) Ability to create responsive, high‑quality UI components within Optimizely solutions.
RESTful APIs & System Integrations Expertise in integrating external systems, building custom APIs, and working with authentication standards like OAuth.
Azure Cloud / Dev Ops & Optimizely Deployment Workflows Understanding of Optimizely DXP environments, cloud hosting, release pipelines, and performance optimization.
