Staff Technical Program

About the Role:

The  Staff Technical Program Manager  is a senior, hands-on technical delivery leader responsible for orchestrating complex, multi domain programs that span engineering, architecture, data, platform, and infrastructure. This role leads enterprise scale initiatives, shapes technical delivery approaches, mentors TPMs, and partners closely with senior engineering leadership to ensure predictable, high quality technical outcomes.
You will be accountable for defining and governing technical delivery frameworks, managing architectural and systemic risk, driving cross platform alignment, and guiding teams through ambiguity with clarity, rigor, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Program Leadership:
Owns high impact, cross platform, multi-year technical programs involving multiple engineering and architecture teams.
Translate technical constraints, risks, tradeoffs, and dependencies into actionable program structures and executable plans.
Drive clarity across ambiguous requirements and establish predictable technical delivery models.

Architecture, Risk & Dependency Governance:
Partner with senior engineering leadership to assess architectural readiness, technical feasibility, and long-term platform implications.
Define and enforce standards for technical risk management, dependency governance, integration sequencing, and engineering handoffs.
Identify and proactively manage cross team, cross system, and cross domain risks.

Execution Excellence & Delivery Governance:
Track technical delivery health, system impacts, and progress toward architectural goals.
Ensure smooth implementation of complex systems, vendor integrations, and platform transformations.

Cross Team Technical Alignment:
Coordinate delivery across engineering, product, architecture, and operations teams; ensure synchronized technical execution across multiple work streams.
Facilitate architectural alignment and technical decision making across domains.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:
Communicate technical program status, issues, and risk posture to executives and broad stakeholder groups.
Manage stakeholder expectations on technical delivery and build alignment across technical and business stakeholders.

Coaching, Leadership & Scaling:
Mentor TPMs and senior TPMs to elevate technical delivery practices, frameworks, and capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including:
