Role Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design Leadership for Engage to Staff (ETS)
Lead the design and architecture of SAP Professional Services in Public Cloud to meet the business needs of a regulated, quality-focused service Industry.
Architect process flows that leverage SAP Best Practices for discrete Professional services
Provide specific guidance around variant configuration for customizable products and ensure smooth integration across various modules of Professional Service processes.
Support decision-making for configuration vs. extensibility, always aiming for minimal deviation from standard.
Identify deltas between standard SAP and business needs, recommending suitable process adaptations or extensibility options.
Build strong relationships with business process owners and IT leadership by clearly articulating how the SAP Professional services on Public Cloud solution will support their goals.
Present options and recommendations in fit-to-standard discussions to gain buy-in and reduce friction.
Aligning closely with onshore functional consultants and technical leads to ensure continuity in solution delivery.
Begin laying the groundwork for upcoming test cycles, data migration, and cutover planning by aligning on key milestones.
Coach and mentor junior team members to strengthen internal SAP Professional services Public Cloud capability.

Technical Abilities:
Revenue Recognition Expertise
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles in professional services.
Ability to configure and validate revenue recognition rules aligned with project milestones and billing cycles.
Project Creation and Processing
Knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle: creation, planning, execution, and closure.
Familiarity with project structures (WBS elements, networks) and integration with financial processes.
Cost Rates and Revenue Management
Ability to define and maintain cost rates for resources and services.
Understanding of revenue calculation methods and profitability analysis for projects.
Staffing and Resource Planning
Experience in resource management, staffing assignments, and capacity planning.
Knowledge of tools and apps for workforce scheduling and utilization tracking.
Billing Process and Adjustments
Expertise in preparing billing documents, including  Billing Document Requests (BDR) , preliminary billing documents, and final invoices.
Ability to handle billing adjustments such as  write-offs ,  postponements , and credit/debit memos.
Pricing and Condition Records
Knowledge of pricing procedures, condition types, and maintenance of condition records.
Ability to configure pricing logic for professional services scenarios.
