Mandatory: UX Design portfolio showcasing 7+ years of experience in solving real-world product problems.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced UX Designer with strong user-centered design thinking , who can work independently , take full ownership of design problems , and deliver high-quality, production-ready UX in a fast-moving environment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable advocating for users , challenging requirements constructively , and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholders —while operating with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design decisions grounded in user needs, behaviors, and pain points .
Translate ambiguous requirements into clear user problems and UX solutions .
Confidently advocate for user needs and push back constructively when requirements compromise usability or experience.
Balance user experience with business goals and technical constraints.
Drive the end-to-end UX process independently—from discovery to final design.
Explore multiple design approaches and alternatives before converging on solutions.
Handle loosely defined problems and bring clarity, structure, and direction without heavy guidance.
Make informed design decisions and clearly articulate trade-offs.
Deliver pixel-perfect, production-ready designs with strong attention to detail.
Ensure consistency across screens, flows, and interactions using design systems or component libraries .
Produce clear UX artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specs .
Take complete ownership of assigned design initiatives and features.
Manage tasks end-to-end—from understanding requirements to final handoff.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in scope.
Deliver work on time with minimal oversight.
Communicate design progress, decisions, risks, and open questions clearly and proactively .
Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
Present design concepts and rationale confidently to cross-functional teams.
Incorporate feedback thoughtfully while maintaining UX quality.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience in UX Design
Strong portfolio demonstrating:
Complex problem-solving
End-to-end UX ownership
High-quality visual and interaction design
Deep understanding of:
User-centered design principles
Information architecture & interaction design
Usability and accessibility best practices
Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma or equivalent)
Experience working closely with engineering teams for design handoff
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise products
Familiarity with design systems at scale
Exposure to agile / fast-iteration product teams
Strong individual contributor (not people-manager focused)
Can work independently with minimal guidance
Comfortable pushing back and defending UX decisions
Delivers high-quality, detailed designs
Ready for contract-based, fast-paced work
