One of our client is a B2B platform that enables organizations to manage, govern, and scale APIs across their lifecycle. Their products are used by enterprises and developer-focused teams, making clarity, consistency, and accuracy in communication critical.
Role Overview :
As a Dev Rel, you’ll bridge the gap between our product and the broader API and developer ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in shaping and scaling awareness, adoption, and community engagement by creating content, running demos, supporting developers, and championing their feedback internally.
This is a technical, strategic, and storytelling-driven role perfect for someone who loves APIs, can speak both dev and product, and thrives at the intersection of technology and community.
What You’ll Do:
Advocate: Represent in developer forums, conferences, meetups, and webinars - both virtual and in-person.
Engage & Support: Build relationships with developers, architects, and partners. Help them succeed by answering questions, gathering feedback, and making onboarding easier.
Collaborate: Work with product and engineering to shape roadmap priorities based on developer feedback and usage patterns.
Grow Community: Foster and scale a thriving user community, from Discord/Slack to Git Hub to Stack Overflow.
Shape the Narrative: Position as a thought leader in API lifecycle management, governance, platform engineering, and API monetization.
Educate & Enable: Create tutorials, sample projects, blogs, videos, and technical guides that showcase capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
2–5 years of experience in Dev Rel, Developer Advocacy, or a developer-facing technical role. Strong knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms, and modern dev tooling.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills - written, verbal, and visual.
Comfort speaking publicly, hosting sessions, or moderating discussions.
A growth mindset, empathy for developers, and a bias for action.
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in API platforms, platform engineering, or working with architects and CIO personas.
Existing presence in the API/developer community (via content, open source, etc.).
Experience working in fast-paced B2B SaaS or developer-focused startups.
