Senior Data Analyst

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities
Lead data analysis projects from requirements gathering through delivery
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders
Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights
Design and optimize SQL queries and data models
Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.) to support strategic initiatives
Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate performance and outcomes
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards
Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
4–6+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
Advanced proficiency in SQL
Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

Experience with statistical analysis and experimentation
Proficiency in Excel and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R)
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a quantitative field
Experience working with large-scale data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift)
Knowledge of data engineering concepts and ETL processes
Experience in a specific industry (e.g., SaaS, finance, healthcare, e-commerce)
Familiarity with machine learning concepts
