Role: ML Engineer 3

Location:

Bangalore (Hybrid)

As an ML Engineer 3, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning solutions that drive business impact. You will work on complex ML problems, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready ML systems.

What you will do:

Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment
Develop and optimize ML models for performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments
Collaborate with data engineers and software engineers to integrate ML solutions into existing systems
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ML Engineer 1 and ML Engineer 2 team members
Research and evaluate new ML techniques, tools, and frameworks to improve team capabilities
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
Monitor model performance in production and implement improvements based on metrics analysis

Who you are:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field
4-8 years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering or related roles
Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, Tensorflow)

Experience with ML infrastructure and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow)
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges

Experience with Generative AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and RAG architectures

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with deep learning architectures (CNNs, Transformers, LLMs)
Background in distributed computing and large-scale data processing (Spark, Ray)
Publications or contributions to open-source ML projects
Experience in specific domains such as NLP, Computer Vision, or Recommender Systems
