Senior Data Scientist

Location: Bengaluru

Required Skills & Experience

- 9+ years of experience in Data Science
- 4+ years of experience with frameworks like Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and working knowledge of Generative AI models like GPT and GANs
- 6+ years of experience with Python, R and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and data pipeline development
- Experience deploying to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and large-scale data processing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

- Experience with Dev Sec Ops  practices, and tools such as Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, Bicep, Aqua Sec etc.
- Strong understanding of both supervised and unsupervised learning models and techniques.
- Proven experience in rapid prototyping and ability to iterate quickly to meet business needs in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Power

BI, tableau or other visualization tools
- Masters or PhD Degree in a quantitative field such as Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Economics
- Experience in Azure

Experience with Azure Devops or Git Hub
- Understanding of terraform or infrastructure as code

Job Description

A fortune 100 company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a contract to hire role that will work onsite 4 days a week in the Bengaluru India area. The Senior Data Scientist will lead the development of data-driven solutions by leveraging traditional data science techniques and recent advancements in Generative AI to bring value. The role is integral to the Digital & Innovation team, driving rapid prototyping efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing innovative approaches to solve business problems.
