Job Description
Business Analyst – Payments Domain
We are seeking an experienced  Business Analyst  with a strong background in  Payments , to join our team in  Bangalore . The ideal candidate will have approximately 7+  years of experience  in the payments industry, with deep expertise in various payment mechanisms and banking domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to  Wires, ISO 20022 , and other payment transfer systems.
Liaise between business teams, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and successful implementation of payment solutions.
Conduct gap analysis to identify enhancements in existing banking platforms, especially core banking and payment processing systems.
Contribute to the design and optimization of  payment processing workflows  and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 20022.
Support the integration of  ISO 20022 messaging standards  across banking platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability and compliance.
Collaborate on the development and testing of  payment gateway integrations ,  wire transfer enhancements , and  platform upgrades .
Monitor industry trends in  digital payments ,  banking channels , and  regulatory changes  to advise the organization accordingly.
Facilitate end-user training and documentation related to new payment features or updates.
Preferred

Skills & Experience:

7+ years  of experience as a Business Analyst in the Payments Domain.
Strong understanding of  Wire Transfers, ACH, SWIFT, SEPA , and other international/domestic payment systems.
Extensive experience with  ISO 20022 messaging standards  and implementation across banking platforms.
Solid knowledge of  Core Banking Systems ,  Payment Gateways , and  Platform-related functions .
Familiarity with  Banking Regulatory Standards  and compliance requirements.
Ability to translate complex payment processes into clear documentation and functional specifications.
Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in  payment systems  analysis tools and methodologies.

Experience with  SQL  for data analysis and validation.
Familiarity with  business process modeling  and  requirements management tools .
Understanding of  API integrations  and  platform architecture  related to banking payments.
