Network Engineer III

Position Overview
As a Network Engineer Level III, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, optimizing, and securing complex network infrastructures that support critical applications and services. You will act as a senior technical expert in network architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enable scalable, resilient, and secure connectivity across Onprem centers, cloud environments, and hybrid networks.
What Will You Get to Do Here
. Design and operate LAN, WAN, data center, campus, wireless, and hybrid cloud networks. . Solution fabrics, EVPN-VXLAN overlays, SD-WAN, SDN, and MPLS L2/L3 VPNs. . Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and multicast routing . Implement advanced routing policy, traffic engineering, Anycast, route reflection, fast convergence, and redundancy mechanisms. . Design and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching including VLANs, VRFs, QoS, STP/MST, LACP, MLAG, and high availability designs.
. Design and secure enterprise wireless networks including Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, RF optimization, roaming, WPA3, 802.1X, and network access control. . Network operations including real time monitoring, telemetry analysis, packet level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and capacity planning. . Implement Zero Trust networking, micro segmentation, firewall policy enforcement, secure remote access and vulnerability mitigation. . Design and support hybrid and multi cloud networking including private connectivity, transit routing, SaaS access, and cloud native load balancing.
. Automate provisioning, validation, and compliance using Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs and Infrastructure as Code. . Leverage streaming telemetry, flow analytics, observability platforms, and AIOps for proactive and predictive network operations. . Change management, lifecycle upgrades, incident analysis, and technical documentation. . Mentor junior engineers and define network standards, reference architectures, and operational runbook
What Qualities Are We Looking For
. Expert level understanding of routing, switching, wireless, and network operations at scale. . Deep knowledge of control plane, data plane, and management plane behaviors. . Strong experience designing high availability, low latency, and fault tolerant networks. . Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi domain production environments. . Strong background in network observability, telemetry, performance engineering, and incident management. . Automation first approach with experience in programmable and intent based networking.
. Ability to standardize and scale networks through repeatable, code driven workflows. . Excellent communication and documentation skills. . High ownership, accountability, and decision making capability. . Ability to mentor engineers and influence network strategy and technology roadmaps. . Professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE,cloud / security certifications like AWS Advanced Networking / Palo Alto PCNSE or equivalent )
