Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Architecture
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available network architectures.
Lead network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
Define network standards, best practices, and architecture documentation.
Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalations
Act as the final escalation point for complex network incidents and outages.
Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and cloud networks.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
Network Operations & Optimization
Optimize network performance, availability, and reliability.
Monitor network health and proactively address risks and capacity issues.
Drive automation and continuous improvement in network operations.
Security & Compliance
Implement and manage network security controls (firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, segmentation).
Collaborate with Security teams on threat mitigation and compliance requirements.
Ensure adherence to security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
Design and support cloud and hybrid network connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Implement site-to-site VPNs, Express Route, Direct Connect, and SD-WAN solutions.
Integrate on-prem and cloud networking securely and efficiently.
Leadership & Mentoring
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L1/L2 engineers.
Review configurations, change requests, and implementation plans.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during audits, reviews, and projects.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Work with network vendors and service providers for issue resolution and design guidance.
Evaluate new networking technologies and tools.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams on large initiatives
