Job Description – Senior ABAP HANA Developer

Role Overview
We are looking for Senior ABAP HANA Developers to work on SAP S/4
HANA implementations and enhancements for a German-based client. The role requires strong expertise in modern ABAP, HANA-optimized development, and close collaboration with functional and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance ABAP applications in SAP S/4
HANA environments.
Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA SQL for high-performance applications.
Work on ABAP on HANA concepts including code pushdown and performance tuning.
Develop OData services for SAP Fiori and external integrations.
Build and enhance Forms (Adobe Forms / Smart Forms / SAP Scripts).
Participate in data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and go-live support .
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure code quality, standards compliance, and proper documentation.
Support production issues and continuous improvements.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
6–12 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development .
Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA / S/4
HANA .
Hands-on experience with:
CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL (HANA-optimized)
OOPs ABAP
Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements Framework)
Experience with SAP Fiori backend development and OData services .
Knowledge of IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services .
Good understanding of SAP S/4
HANA data model .
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have
Experience with SAP S/4
HANA Greenfield/Brownfield implementations
Exposure to SAP UI5 / Fiori
SAP ABAP on HANA or S/4
HANA certification
Experience working with European/German clients
