Your Role And Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing and managing Workday Prism Analytics solutions as part of ABB's central data and reporting ecosystem. You will ensure accurate, high-quality, and secure analytics across HR, Payroll, and Finance by owning data modeling, transformations, cross-system reconciliations, and integration with enterprise systems including Snowflake. You will shape ABB's future data foundation and support scalable analytics aligned with Workday Data Cloud and Data Lake strategy.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
Designing and optimizing Prism datasets, transformation pipelines, and advanced reporting solutions.
Managing end-to-end data ingestion across Workday and external systems—including Snowflake, SAP Payroll, and HR/Finance applications.
Developing and maintaining secure, governed data connections and transformation logic between Prism and Snowflake.
Supporting reconciliation and variance analysis processes used for global payroll and HR governance.
Ensuring data quality, governance, and security of all Prism and Snowflake-connected datasets.
Performing Workday reporting and Prism release testing and validating impacts on Snowflake-integrated processes.
Collaborating globally to gather requirements, translate them into scalable data solutions, and deliver high-quality analytics.
Documenting all technical processes, SOPs, data models, and integration designs.
Qualifications For
The Role
7+ years of experience in HR technology, data engineering, or analytics.
5+ years of Workday reporting experience, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite Reports, Dashboards.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
Proven expertise in Workday Prism Analytics, including dataset design, modeling, ingestion, and transformations.
Workday Certification and experience with Workday Reporting and Prism is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of Workday calculated fields, business objects, and security implications for reporting.
Experience in reconciliation, variance analysis, audit controls, or finance/payroll data flows is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and governance.
Experience with Snowflake integration, SQL, data warehousing, or cloud-based data engineering is an advantage
Hands-on experience in BIRT report development, template creation, troubleshooting, and optimization is an advantage
