Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert for Open Shift Container Platform architecture, components, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex L4 incidents related to Open Shift clusters, including networking, storage, authentication, and application deployments.
Perform advanced cluster diagnostics, performance tuning, and capacity management.
Design and implement automation for Open Shift operations, upgrades, and maintenance.
Collaborate with application development teams to optimize containerized workloads and troubleshoot application-level issues on Open Shift.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Contribute to the evolution and roadmap of the Open Shift platform

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

6+ years of experience in container orchestration, with at least 3-4 years dedicated to Red Hat Open Shift in an enterprise setting.
Technical

Skills:

Deep expertise in Open Shift (OCP) administration, networking (SDN, OVN-Kubernetes), storage (Open Shift Container Storage/Ceph, persistent volumes), and authentication (LDAP, OpenID Connect). Strong knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, Docker, and Linux. Scripting (Bash, Python) and automation (Ansible) skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCE, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Open Shift Administration) highly preferred.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents
