About the Role
- You will be joining a team of GWS Engineers, focusing on Google Workspace migrations, mail relay configurations, Active Directory integrations, and security best practices. Your primary responsibility will be to help organizations transition seamlessly from various email and collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, Exchange, IMAP, etc.) to Google Workspace while ensuring Data integrity, Security, and Optimal performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Workspace migration projects from various platforms (Microsoft 365, Exchange, IMAP, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Google Workspace Admin Console, Google Workspace Migrate, and third-party migration tools (Cloud
M, Bit Titan, etc.).
- Proficiency in DNS management, including configuring MX records, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Experience with mail relay setup and email routing configurations in Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS), and SAML-based SSO integration.
- Familiarity with Cloud Identity and endpoint management.
- Familiarity with security best practices and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to email flow, authentication, and syncing issues.
- Experience working with enterprise-level clients and providing post-migration support.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute seamless email, calendar, and data migrations from Microsoft 365, Exchange, IMAP, and other platforms to Google Workspace.
- Configure Google Workspace Migrate, Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS), and other migration tools based on client requirements.
- Set up and manage mail routing, hybrid environments, and mail relay configurations.
- Troubleshoot migration issues related to MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, authentication, and email routing.
- Assist in Active Directory (AD) integration with Google Workspace for user provisioning and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Work with security teams to ensure secure data migration and compliance with best practices.
- Provide post-migration support, including user training and resolving email client configuration issues.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to optimize the Google Workspace environment for performance and scalability
