Informatica Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise data integration solutions across cloud and on prem environments. The role focuses on ETL development, cloud integration, data warehouse support, and enterprise data modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Informatica Power Center, IICS, and CAI, strong SQL skills, and experience supporting complex data platforms in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Development

- Design and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Power Center and IICS
- Build data integration solutions supporting enterprise data warehouse needs
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability

Cloud Data Integration (CDI)

- Develop mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, and replication jobs
- Handle dynamic parameters and exception management
- Design scalable cloud-based integration solutions

Cloud Application Integration (CAI)

- Build and support integrations using Informatica CAI
- Develop RESTful APIs and automation interfaces
- Implement authentication mechanisms and custom APIs
- Create service connectors, app connectors, and process objects
- Apply XQuery and API policy configurations

OnPrem Development

- Integrate legacy systems through on-prem ETL pipelines
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL workflows
- Ensure data consistency and integrity
- Support cloud modernization initiatives

Data Warehouse Support

- Collaborate on scalable warehouse schema design
- Monitor EDW performance and resolve issues proactively
- Conduct data profiling and quality validation
- Write and validate advanced SQL queries
- Develop stored procedures, packages, and functions
- Implement complex transformation logic

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to define data requirements
- Provide technical guidance across teams
- Participate in cross-functional delivery

Documentation & Training

- Document ETL workflows and architecture
- Support training and knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in Informatica development
- Strong expertise in Power Center, IICS, and CAI
- 5+ years ETL development experience
- 3+ years IICS and CAI experience
- Advanced SQL / PL-SQL skills
- Strong data warehouse fundamentals
- Experience in both cloud and on-prem environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Informatica or related certifications
- Exposure to additional ETL or data integration tools
- Knowledge of cloud data warehouse platforms
- Experience in enterprise-scale data modernization
