Power BI Developer

Location: Bengaluru

Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations tailored to business requirements
Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into functional BI solutions
Connect Power BI to a variety of enterprise data sources including SAP BW/HANA, Oracle, Hyperion, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms like Snowflake and Amazon Redshift
Develop and maintain semantic data models and implement efficient data transformations using Power Query
Optimize report/dashboard performance, scalability, and user experience
Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and clarity in reporting
Troubleshoot data issues and manage the quality and integrity of reported data
Maintain and enhance existing reports and dashboards to meet evolving business needs
Provide documentation and training to end-users and promote self-service BI usage across the organization
Follow data governance and security protocols to ensure compliance
Role Requirements and

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of data visualization principles and UX/UI design
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices
Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP BW/HANA, Oracle, and Hyperion
Skilled in accessing and transforming data from spreadsheets, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and other modern cloud data platforms
Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational and columnar databases
Familiarity with hierarchical and financial planning data structures
Ability to work with large, complex datasets and deliver user-friendly dashboards
Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
