The Challenge

Due to rapid growth and increased demand for our Privacy, Security, Data Governance, GRC, Third-Party Risk, Ethics and Compliance, and ESG platform, One Trust is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join the User Experience Design team within our dynamic Research and Development team.

This team continually improves the usability, design, and overall experience of One Trust offerings, including web applications and other products and services. It is an excellent opportunity to improve the experience of an exceptionally wide range of users around the world.

Your Mission

Responsibilities

The Senior UX Designer will work under the oversight of a Principal UX Designer and assist with all the UX responsibilities below:

Design:
Create deliverables for the entire design process, including information architecture, interface design, interaction design, and low and high-fidelity prototypes.

Standards:
Identify, define and promote UX best practices, including templates

UX Metrics:
Identify, collect, and analyze data to inform user experience decisions, including web metrics, customer support data, and other sources

Industry Awareness:
Monitor and apply relevant UX trends

Promotion:
Serve as a UX advocate within the organization

You Are

You are a strong collaborator and able to effectively communicate with other team members across the R&D organization. Additionally, you are a self-learner who enjoys researching and applying relevant UX trends and who thrives with rapid, iterative design and development processes.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design and experience working in software development.
At least 1 year of experience creating B2B products.
You're a clear, concise, and persuasive communicator.
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work from research through execution.
Advanced Figma skills using design libraries, components, auto layout, variants, prototyping and organized file structure.
Proven ability to design for complex, data-rich, or AI-driven applications.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and storytelling skills.
You are driven by understanding user behavior and have experience designing complex experiences.
You know how to collect customer data, perform heuristic evaluations, create journey maps, or employ other UX activities to inform usable and lovable products
You have experience working within WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
You are resilient. You can manage multiple input points, meet varying deadlines, be realistic about project releases, and know where to put your efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead UX design for a product area from discovery to delivery.
Partner with Domain UX to translate strategy into actionable designs.
Manage design tasks within sprint cycles.
Balance fidelity with speed; deliver iteratively while maintaining UX quality.
Collaborate across PM and ENG to ensure a unified user experience
Demonstrate a sense of ownership and accountability in your team's work and outcomes.
Meet with customers weekly to know and represent them in the SDLC process.
Craft thoughtful UX writing to support your design solutions.
Create Eng-ready design deliverables using our component library so sprint counterparts can execute features every three weeks.
Oversee sprint deliverables so that the intended customer experience is protected.
