Snowflake Data Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

We are seeking a Sr Snowflake Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our team in India. As a Sr Snowflake Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable data solutions using the Snowflake platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop efficient data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
Hands on experience on Migration of On premises to Snowflake.
Expertise in core data engineering concepts, including Streams, Snow pipe, ETL, SQL, and DBT.
Strong proficiency in SQL, SnowSQL, and advanced ETL/ELT pipelines.
Design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake, focusing on data warehousing, modelling, and pipeline automation. Incremental logic
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading, leveraging Snow pipe for continuous, automated data ingestion from cloud storage.
Write advanced SQL and SnowSQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
Implement and manage dbt (data build tool) for data transformation, orchestration, and documentation within Snowflake environments.
Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for Snowflake-based workflows.
Monitor and validate data ingestion from multiple source systems to Snowflake.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes, including Snow pipe for automated data ingestion.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native data integration.
Contribute to the improvement of data testing standards, processes, and best practices.
