Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for a skilled software tester with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our
dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and
knowledge in automated testing, with proficiency on Java/Python and Selenium &
Playwright for automation as well as experience in API testing and test case writing. The
QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products
before they are released to customers.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products
Perform manual testing to identify bugs, log defects and find RCA's.
Conduct API testing to verify functionality, performance, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify testing requirements and priorities
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Java/Python.
Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

5 to 7 years of experience in web application QA testing.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
Strong knowledge on Automation testing. Preferably Python with Playwright.
Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman.
Hands on knowledge on SQL, DB testing and Performance testing (Jmeter) is a plus.
Excellent problem solving skills, attention to details, Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
