The Agile Coach has a key role in supporting Agile ways of working and is responsible for driving the adoption and optimization of agile values and principles in Global Enterprise Technology's (GET) Agile Transformation.
As an Agile Coach, you will design and implement a strategy for multiple teams to adopt and scale Agile methodologies and to continuously improve their use of Agile.
The Agile Coach will work closely with our current Agile Coaches and the Agile Transition Team (ATT) to ensure consistency across all teams in GET.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates

Your key responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will be considered a subject-matter expert in Scrum and Kanban methodologies and Scaled Agile frameworks, have prior experience leading Agile Transformations at large organizations, be an effective communicator with strong servant leadership skills, have excellent logic and problem solving skills, and a drive to make a difference.
Must be able to roll up their sleeves and work hands on when needed to set examples for Scrum Masters. This position is not just academic, requires real enterprise experience.
Create and teach training/workshops to help teams quickly achieve productivity using Agile practices.
Coach teams in modern Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices to build high performing teams.
Provide training in agile ways of working to ensure full understanding and execution of Agile roles and responsibilities.
Partner with other Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters/Service Delivery Masters, Product Owners/Service Request Masters, and executives across the organization to plan and coordinate organization-wide agile adoption and rollout plans.
Capture feedback and continuously improve enterprise Agile guidance and identify organizational impediments to successful Agile transformation.
Evaluate and assess the agile maturity of teams in the adoption of agile.
Ability to model desired behavior in facilitating agile ceremonies (as needed) such as standups, backlog refinement, release planning, demos, scrum of scrums and retrospectives.
Experience leading an Agile Transformation in a Scaled Agile environment using one or more of the following frameworks (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, LeSS, Spotify, Scrum@Scale, Nexus, DAD)

Recommend and develop appropriate metrics and maturity measurements for the teams and portfolio.
Ensure the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility. Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Mentor and influence leaders on the benefits of adopting the new operating model

Qualifications for Internal Candidates

Technical

Skills & Qualifications

Education:

BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

Experience:

14+ years of experience working in enterprise development with a portion of that time at a large highly regulated organization or major consulting organization.
Fluency and recent hands-on experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Extreme Programming, Lean, and/or SAFe
10+ years of Agile experience in the role of Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or other Agile role (e.g., Product Owner, Service Request Manager).
Experience leading at least 1 Agile Transformations, including strategy and planning, training, coaching and mentoring teams, measuring maturity, and resolving organizational impediments.
Enterprise specific experience with Scrum and Kanban frameworks in a software development environment.
Deep understanding of Agile principles and iterative development methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (Azure Dev Ops (preferred), JIRA, Rally)
Proficient in MS Office applications:
Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project

Experience with CI/CD, Cloud and software development
Ability to coach teams to reach their highest potential
Excellent verbal/written communications and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, ability to work with diverse personality types at all levels of the organization
