Required Designation
Clinical Psychologist - Department of Psychiatry, Ramaiah Medical College.
Description of the job:
The selected candidate will be appointed in the Department of Psychiatry at a medical college hospital. Responsibilities include conducting various forms of psychotherapy, including individual, family, marital, and group therapy. The candidate should be proficient in administering comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic psychometry, intelligence testing, personality 3 assessments, and projective techniques.
The role also involves active participation in inpatient ward rounds, with an expectation to contribute clinically as well as academically during these rounds. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for academic teaching and supervision of MD Psychiatry residents and psychology interns, including the delivery of structured teaching sessions. The candidate can also collaborate for research projects and publications.
Qualifications:
MPhil in Clinical Psychology (RCI Registration Compulsory) OR MPhil (with RCI)+ PhD

Skills Required:
Proficiency in psychometric assessments and psychotherapy
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in English and Kannada. Other regional languages an add on
Proficient in atleast one school of psychotherapy
Salary:
Consolidated remuneration of Rs.50,000/-p.m.
