Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Occupational Therapist located in Bengaluru. The Occupational Therapist will assess and create individualized intervention plans for children with special needs, focusing on their physical, sensory, and cognitive development. The role will involve conducting therapy sessions, monitoring patients' progress, and working collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support the child's growth and independence.

The therapist will also provide guidance on tools, exercises, and activities to improve functional skills and quality of life.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Occupational Therapy techniques and experience in pediatric therapy
Knowledge of rehabilitation practices and understanding of medicine related to child development
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
Passion for working with children with special needs and commitment to their growth
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage
Experience in working within interdisciplinary teams is a plus
Empathy, patience, and adaptability in diverse care environments
