Role Summary
As a Communications & Engagement Associate, you will support clear, timely, and engaging internal communication across teams, with a strong focus on field staff engagement. You will work on newsletters, internal communications, and engagement initiatives, helping ensure information reaches teams accurately and effectively. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordination, writing, creativity, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support newsletter creation by collecting updates from teams, drafting and formatting content, tracking approvals, and managing release timelines
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all internal communications before publishing
Support field staff engagement initiatives by executing the engagement calendar and creating posts, polls, graphics, and short videos
Publish content on internal platforms such as Whats App and track participation and engagement
Create simple visual content using templates and assist with short video editing with guidance
Adapt communication and content for mobile-first platforms

Key Requirements
Good written communication skills
Willingness to coordinate, follow up, and manage multiple stakeholders
Strong sense of ownership toward timelines and deliverables
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Openness to feedback and willingness to learn

You Do NOT Need
Prior experience in communications or engagement roles
Advanced design or video editing skills

Experience with internal communication platforms
(Training and guidance will be provided.)

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
College projects, internships, or volunteering related to content or communication
Interest in writing, design, or social media
Familiarity with tools like Canva or basic video editors
