Position Summary
The Assistant Professor in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, guiding student projects, and contributing to academic and administrative activities of the department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Academic Activities
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Handle subjects such as:
Analog & Digital Electronics
Communication Systems
Signal Processing
Microprocessors & Microcontrollers
VLSI Design
Embedded Systems
Wireless Communication
Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, laboratory manuals, and course files .
Conduct laboratory sessions, tutorials, and seminars .
Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, internal tests, and examinations .
2. Research & Development
Conduct research in emerging areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering .
Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences .
Apply for research grants, funded projects, and consultancy projects .
Contribute to innovation, patents, and product development .
3. Student Guidance & Mentoring
Guide undergraduate and postgraduate student projects .
Mentor students in technical competitions, hackathons, and innovation activities .
Support internships, industry training, and placements .
4. Departmental & Institutional Activities
Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision .
Contribute to accreditation processes such as NBA, NAAC, and NIRF .
Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) .
Participate in department meetings, committees, and academic administration .
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (preferred)
OR
M.E./M.Tech in ECE or related specialization with strong academic record (as per AICTE/UGC norms).
Experience
0–5 years of teaching, research, or industry experience .
Fresh PhD candidates are encouraged to apply.
