About The Opportunity
Opportunity in the Education sector—Early Childhood & Pre-Primary education across India. We work with schools and preschools to deliver play-based, inquiry-led learning that builds foundational literacy, numeracy and social-emotional skills for children entering formal schooling.
We are recruiting on-site Early Years / Pre-Primary teachers to deliver nurturing, structured classroom experiences for young learners and partner closely with parents and leadership on holistic child development.
Role & Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons that develop early literacy, numeracy and socio-emotional skills for pre-primary children.
Create and maintain a safe, stimulating classroom environment that supports exploration, routines and positive behaviour management.
Use formative assessment techniques to track child development, maintain records and communicate progress to parents and school leaders.
Adapt instruction using differentiated activities to meet varied learning needs and developmental milestones in the class.
Design and prepare classroom materials, thematic units and learning centers that encourage hands-on learning and curiosity.
Collaborate with co-teachers, special educators and parents to implement individualized support and follow-up plans.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.
Proven classroom experience working with children aged 2–6 in a preschool or pre-primary setting.
Strong knowledge of play-based pedagogy and early literacy strategies including phonics.
Ability to create lesson plans, learning centers and age-appropriate assessments.
Familiarity with child safeguarding practices and basic pediatric first-aid knowledge.
Clear verbal communication and partnership skills for parent-teacher engagement.
Preferred
Training or experience in Montessori or Reggio Emilia approaches.
Bilingual classroom skills (English plus regional language).
Comfort with digital classroom tools for planning and parent communication.
