Deccan PU College is looking for an experienced and dedicated Statistics Faculty with 3–5 years of teaching experience to deliver quality instruction, strengthen students' analytical skills, and support academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Teach  Statistics  for PU students as per the prescribed syllabus and academic schedule
Explain statistical concepts clearly using real-life examples and problem-solving methods
Train students in topics such as  Measures of Central Tendency, Dispersion, Probability, Correlation, Regression, Index Numbers, Time Series, and Statistical Inference   (as per syllabus)
Conduct regular tests, assignments, and revision sessions to improve performance
Prepare students for  internal assessments and board examinations
Maintain student attendance, academic records, and performance reports
Provide academic mentoring and additional support for slow learners
Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and college activities
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Statistics / Mathematics / related field   (M.Sc Statistics preferred)
B.Ed  is an added advantage
3–5 years of teaching experience  at PU/College level
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Ability to motivate students and improve academic results
Preferred Candidate
Local candidates will be given preference
