About the Institution
Bangalore International School is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Assistant University Guidance Counsellor to support our Guidance Counselling team in preparing and placing students in universities worldwide. This role works closely with the Guidance Counsellor and plays a key part in student planning, university coordination, and parent engagement.
Responsibilities
Support university planning, applications, and testing (PSAT, SAT, psychometric assessments)
Provide individual and group counselling on academic, personal, and career-related matters
Assist with career guidance, student goal-setting, and parent counselling
Coordinate university visits, career events, and counselling calendars
Maintain confidentiality and prepare academic transcripts (UK, US, India)
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counselling or a related field
2–3 years of experience in counselling or career guidance
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
