Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Interpret Medical Images:
Analyze various imaging modalities (X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound) to diagnose and monitor diseases.
Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals:
Work closely with referring physicians and other medical staff to discuss findings and determine appropriate treatment plans.
Perform Interventional Procedures:
Conduct image-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and injections when necessary.
Ensure Patient Safety:
Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure that imaging equipment is functioning correctly to protect patients and staff.
Maintain Accurate Records:
Document findings and maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay Updated:
Keep abreast of advancements in radiology and imaging technology to provide the best patient care possible.

Skill Required

Required Skills And Qualifications

Medical Degree:
Must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, with specialized training in radiology.
Licensure:
Must be licensed to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction and board-certified in radiology.
Analytical

Skills:

Strong ability to interpret complex medical images and make accurate diagnoses.
Communication

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey findings to patients and healthcare teams effectively.
