Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Client Accountant, located in Bengaluru. The Client Accountant will manage bookkeeping, assist in accounts finalization, handle month-end close processes. Candidate needs to have strong accounting concepts and keen to grow in the team over period. Responsibilities also include client interactions, managing invoices, and ensuring smooth financial operations while aligning with compliance requirements.
Any knowledge and experience in Quick Books will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate will get hands-on experience in handling multiple clients, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close in a fast-paced offshore accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute and do first level review of full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple US clients.
Record, review, and categorize transactions in Quick Books Online (QBO).
Perform bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
Maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Assist with sales tax, payroll entries, and 1099 reporting.
Conduct bookkeeping clean-ups and historical reconstruction.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Experience working with multiple entities/clients.
Strong Excel skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Accounting Software and Accounting principles
Experience in Customer Follow-Up and strong communication skills to manage client relationships
Knowledge of Invoicing and foundational Finance competencies
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience:
0–2 Years
Preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Quick Books Pro Advisor Certification.
Experience in CPA firm or offshore accounting firm.
Knowledge of sales tax filings and 1099 preparation.
Experience with tools like , Gusto, Stripe, Expensify, etc.
