Senior Accountant GL; Payroll

Position: Senior Accountant GL (Payroll)
Location: Bengaluru

Saviynt is a leading cloud-based Identity Governance and Administration (IGA/IAM) solutions
provider. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior GL Accountant with minimum 5
years of progressive accounting experience, including expertise in general ledger
accounting, financial reporting and process improvement. This role requires a Basic
understanding of U.S. GAAP / IFRS with moderate analytical skills. The ideal
candidate will act as a subject matter expert for the allocated areas to ensure the
accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING   Own and manage the accounting of all the group entities for payroll monthly including booking the payroll cost, employee benefits allocations and various payroll account reconciliations

· Record and reconcile Sales Commissions / Deferred Commissions /Intercompany movements w.r.t Commission accruals and payouts on a monthly basis as part of the books closure process
Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and timing within the set month close timelines
Perform high-level balance sheet and P&L analysis, including identifying missing accruals, month on month variances and providing insights to senior leadership
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Payroll teams to clear the open items in a timely manner
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and ensure audit readiness with clean and accurate reconciliations and supporting documentation
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and schedules as required
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy

WHAT YOU BRING   CA or CMA fully or partly qualified are preferred
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management skills

Experience in Tech Industry or a Captive Shared Services is highly desirable
· Knowledge of tools such as Floqast, Concur, Net Suite or any other ERP of similar standards
