Finance Consultant, Financial Reporting

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP).
Prepare and support statutory and tax audits, including drafting financials, audit schedules, and liaising with auditors.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, etc.
Handle reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany, etc.) and maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance.
Monitor and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and assist in implementing process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data collation, analysis, and reporting.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities including provision workings, depreciation, and ledgers review.
Develop MIS reports and assist in variance analysis and budgeting as required.
Track regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly.

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
1–3 years of experience in a finance/audit/accounting role preferred.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards (IGAAP/Ind AS), and tax regulations.
Hands-on experience in statutory audit, tax audit, and other assurance assignments.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance, and return filing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas, etc.).
Familiarity with accounting software like Oracle, Quick Books & Zoho books (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, ownership, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
