About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our growing finance team. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting audit and close processes in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Responsibilities

Execute daily and monthly accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely close of books
Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Perform financial statement analysis and document explanations for variances and fluctuations
Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Assist in improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
Support the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Assist with annual audits and quarterly reviews by preparing supporting documentation
Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and proactively follow up with clients on payments and invoice discrepancies
Audit and reconcile Accounts Payable invoices and migrate approved invoices into Quick Books

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in general accounting, including AP, bank reconciliations, prepaid assets, accrued expenses, and monthly close
Prior experience in a Professional Services, Consulting, or high-growth technology environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and internal audit practices
Proficient in Net Suite General Ledger and Quick Books

Experience with PSA tools such as Kimble or similar platforms
Exposure to Salesforce-based systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments
High personal integrity and strong work ethic
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Required Skills

Proficient in Net Suite General Ledger and Quick Books, strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with PSA tools such as Kimble or similar platforms, exposure to Salesforce-based systems.
