• Lead and manage all Engineering department operations including building maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure all hotel facilities and equipment function optimally.
• Manage the department budget (OPEX & CAPEX) and implement energy efficiency initiatives covering electricity, water, and gas.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (K3) standards, fire protection systems, and government building regulations.
• Supervise renovation projects or major repairs and coordinate with external contractors or vendors.
• Train and develop the engineering team’s competencies to maintain high service standards.

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience as a Chief Engineering or Assistant Chief Engineering at an international‑scale hotel.
• Diploma Degree (3‑year) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering preferred).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, medium‑voltage electricity, pumps, and building automation systems.
• Professional certifications (General K3 or Electrical K3J) are advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and be willing to work on a sniff system if necessary.
• Responsible, disciplined, and highly detail‑oriented regarding operations.
