Reed Practice is recruiting for a Pension Scheme Audit Manager on behalf of a respected and growing accountancy firm. This is a full-time role that can be carried out remotely with occasional visits to the firm's head office in Banbury, or on a hybrid basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor with specialist knowledge in pension schemes to take on a leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

As a Pension Scheme Audit Manager, you will:

  • Oversee and manage pension scheme audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Review financial information and perform risk assessments
  • Lead audit teams and manage workflow across multiple engagements
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve audit processes and service delivery

About You

You are ACA or ACCA qualified and:

  • Have strong knowledge of pension audit principles, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Possess experience in managing and leading audit engagements
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting
  • Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Are proficient in audit tools and software
  • Have prior experience in pension audit or assurance (preferred)
  • Are highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Thrive in a collaborative and professional team environment
