1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Banbury
Start Date:
ASAP / January 2026
Pay: £89–£100 per day
A supportive and welcoming primary school in Banbury is looking for a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil who has an EHCP. This role is perfect for someone patient, nurturing and passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive.
Role Responsibilities- Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
- Assist with learning activities, daily routines and emotional regulation
- Follow the pupil’s EHCP and apply strategies recommended by the SENCO
- Encourage confidence, engagement and independence
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team
- Experience supporting children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Keen to gain further SEN experience or progress within education
