Service Technician

Protyre Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for providing exceptional vehicle servicing and repairs by using latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.

* Location:

Protyre Banbury

* Salary: £30,000-£33,000, £3,600+ bonus to be earned

* Essential:
Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

* Level 3 qualification in an Automotive field

About the role:

* Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

* Completing fast fit tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

* Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products

* Carrying out MOT repairs

* Adherence to company procedures of the vehicle inspection process

* Use relevant diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality

* Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues vehicles of certain makes and ages develop, and offers timelines for future vehicle repair needs

* Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

About you:

* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification related to the Automotive industry

* Experienced with mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing repairs to a wide range of vehicles

* The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

* Experience with diagnostic equipment

* Great customer service skills

* Full UK Driving Licence
