Description Team Overview:The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem-solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Role Overview :The Mechanical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical engineering projects that improve production capability, efficiency, and reliability. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership and project management expertise to ensure successful delivery of capital and improvement projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

What You'll be DoingThis role is responsible for leading mechanical engineering projects from planning to execution, including defining scopes, schedules, and budgets while ensuring alignment with plant operations and business goals. It provides technical oversight in equipment selection, system design, and installation to maintain safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards. The position also manages procurement activities, from preparing technical specifications and evaluating bids to negotiating contracts and tracking costs, ensuring effective supplier and subcontractor performance.
Additionally, the role oversees project cost control, risk management, and quality assurance, coordinating closely with operations, maintenance, production, EHS, and quality teams to ensure seamless project integration and operational efficiency. Comprehensive documentation and strict adherence to codes and corporate engineering policies are maintained throughout all project phases.
