Shipping and Receiving

We are currently seeking a Shipper & Receiver for our warehouse in Baltimore, MD
. The ideal candidate will work primarily in the warehouse, but additional responsibilities may include local delivery, so a clean driving record is a must.

• Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment
• Count and verify part quantities
• Stack cartons on skids, stretch wrap skids, and identify contents
• May be required to prepare shipping documents and contact carriers for pick up of shipments
• Load / unload trucks
• Deliver parts to customer sites in a company-provided vehicle
• Enter received items into the system and store in proper location
• Participate in month-end and year-end physical inventory
• Keep warehouse organized, clean and in good condition
• Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques, and use equipment safely
• Operate fork lift safely. We will provide training
• Work to accomplish company inventory accuracy goals
• Work with minimal supervision

• Minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Valid Driver's License - Clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Good communication skills with customers, clients, and employees
• Ability to follow outlined procedures and processes
• Good problem-solving skills
• Experience with using Fed Ex and UPS, scales
• Experience in LTL and inventory control
• Operate sit down and stand up forklifts
• Solid Computer skills
• Ability to count, verify, and key on-hand quantities into the system

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.
