The Passenger Assistant Agent is responsible for assisting and transporting airline passengers requiring assistance, including wheelchair assistance at the airport.

• Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates.
• Roll customer‑occupied wheelchair safely down the jet bridge.
• Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to allowing passengers to exit the wheelchair.
• Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports.
• Follow dispatcher gate orders.
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and be attentive to each passenger's individual needs; assist passengers with any problems, questions, or concerns.
• Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities.
• Exceed customer service standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram.
• Computer skills required for use of computer‑based systems to perform primary tasks.
• Fluency in English; excellent communication skills.
• Positive, can‑do, upbeat personality; remain calm under pressure.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time at the ticket counter and gate check‑in.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms generated by the terminal environment.
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain an airport badge.
• Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Physical demands: continuously stand and walk 6–8 hours; push airline passenger of significant weight; lift up to 70 lb.; push and pull 200+ lb. on an incline; work in outdoor weather conditions; bend, stretch, twist, squat, and reach with arms and/or legs.
