We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver (Heavy Haul) in the Maryland/Northern Virginia area. Lowboy and flatbed experience, hazmat plus tanker endorsement preferred.

Operates commercial vehicle (gross vehicle weight over 26,000 lb) and non‑commercial vehicle (gross vehicle weight less than 26,000 lb) to transport heavy equipment, materials, supplies, etc., to and from Annapolis Junction, MD yard and jobsites in/near Northern VA/DC/Maryland, Richmond, VA, and the Tidewater region of VA (Chesapeake/Norfolk/Newport News).

• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicle to check fluid levels, gauges, tires, lights, mirrors, and overall condition.
• Complete minor vehicle servicing (e.g., air in tires, replace bulbs, fuses).
• Receive written or oral instructions from supervisor regarding materials/supplies to be transported.
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner, obeying state and local traffic laws.
• Load and unload vehicle; secure/tie down loads.
• Complete mileage logs, log sheets and transfer sheets detailing where the vehicle went and what was picked up/delivered.

Two to four years of related experience and/or training.

English.

Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred. Must have a clear driving record, a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card), and must pass a driver performance test.

Expected base pay range: $28.00 /hr – $34.00 /hr.
