Job Description:

The Software Engineer III is a senior technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex software systems built on Microsoft .NET, Azure Kubernetes platforms, JSON-based integrations, and DB2 databases. This role provides technical leadership, drives best practices, and ensures the long-term scalability, security, and reliability of enterprise software systems.

** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead the design and development of complex **.NET applications and services**, with a focus on scalability, security, and overall maintainability, and alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.
* Architect and maintain
** highly available systems
** deployed in
** Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
*** Design and govern
** JSON-based API contracts
** and integration patterns.
* Oversee database design, optimization, and integration with
** DB2.
*** Serve as an escalation point for high-impact production incidents.
* Review and approve code for quality, security, and performance.
* Collaborate with architects, Dev Ops, and cloud teams on system improvements.
* Mentor Junior Software Development/Engineering staff.
* Drive modernization efforts, cloud optimization, and technical debt reduction.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and regulatory standards.
* Contribute to technical roadmaps and architectural strategies.
* Deliver solutions on time, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and technical trade-offs to meet committed deadlines.
